DC Biochip is based on German technology and replicates its quality exactly. The parabolic shape of the discs causes the carriers to continuously tumble in the water, preventing sludge from adhering and ensuring the biofilm remains at an optimal thickness. Under ideal conditions, a biofilm can form within a week, with efficiency 3 to 5 times that of standard MBBR media.
