Decycle Secures New Client, MBBR Media Highly Recognized for Fast Biofilm Formation

Recently, Shanghai Decycle New Materials Co., Ltd. successfully signed a cooperation with a leading domestic wastewater treatment enterprise, providing high-performance MBBR biofilm media for its municipal wastewater upgrading and reconstruction project. With outstanding product performance and mature technology, Decycle’s products achieved rapid biofilm formation, stable fluidization and qualified effluent in on-site applications, winning high praise from the client.

Decycle has been dedicated to R&D and manufacturing of water treatment media for 25 years. The DC BIOCHIP and DC S BIOCHIP series adopted in this project are made of virgin PE/HDPE, with a specific surface area up to 5,500 m²/m³ and a service life of over 15 years. They feature excellent hydrophilicity, fast biofilm formation, non-clogging and corrosion resistance, reducing the biochemical tank footprint by 30%–40%, improving treatment efficiency and lowering operation costs. This cooperation further strengthens Decycle’s leading position in the domestic MBBR media industry.
