Technological Breakthrough: Decycle MBBR Media Improves Biofilm Performance & Treatment Efficiency

Recently, Decycle’s R&D team has optimized product formulations and structures, achieving an all-round upgrade in biofilm formation speed, biocompatibility and treatment stability across its full range of MBBR media. The products perform excellently in industrial wastewater, recirculating aquaculture, municipal sewage and other scenarios.

The upgraded DC 04-2 (K1), DC 19-1 (K3), DC 64 (K5) and hydrophilic PU foam media offer a specific surface area ranging from 500 to 4,500 m²/m³, suitable for aerobic, anaerobic and other processes. They feature UV resistance, high toughness, non-degradability and easy installation. Field tests show a significantly shortened biofilm formation period, more uniform biofilm attachment, and more stable removal of COD and ammonia nitrogen, meeting high-standard water treatment requirements.
